I’m from Decatur, IL, and my journey in the crop insurance world began back in 1994 with a simple data entry job. My role quickly evolved to include actuary work and computer network wiring for a small agricultural insurance company. Over time, this expanded to computer maintenance, managing servers, network administration, and website design. Eventually, I took on a significant project, building a full crop insurance processing system for an Approved Insurance Provider (AIP), which kicked off my full-fledged career in the crop insurance sector and the agricultural industry.
