I was born in Ukraine but grew up in Sacramento, CA. Now, I live in Clovis, CA. My journey into agriculture, specifically into crop insurance, started quite uniquely through conversations with fellow beekeepers. My deep connection to agriculture comes from my family. My grandfather was a beekeeper, and I spent many of my childhood summers helping him with his bees. Those experiences were not just about hard work under the sun; they instilled in me a love for honeybees. By my late 20s, I decided to embrace beekeeping full-time, following in the footsteps of my grandfather and father.
