I grew up farming in the Mississippi Delta and have been working in ag and finance for over 30 years. I got my Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Delta State University.
I started as an Ag Lender and spent more than 20 years helping farmers get the financial support they needed, working with a regional bank and then with Farm Credit. In 2000, I also got into crop insurance to help out even more.
In 2012, I decided to switch things up and opened my own crop insurance agency, using all the experience I’d gathered to help farmers protect their work against all the ups and downs of farming.

I’m active in my church, the First United Methodist Church in Grenada, MS. My wife, DeAnn, is a pharmacist, and we have two grown daughters and a great son-in-law. Growing up, I was all about farming, helping out with our family’s cattle, crops, and catfish, which sparked my lifelong interest in agriculture.
