DANA MARSHALL

Support Specialist

Dana understands farm and ranch insurance because she’s a farmer.

I’m originally from Harrisburg, Arkansas, and I’ve lived here my entire life. My upbringing was deeply rooted in agriculture, growing up on a family farm that primarily produced cotton and soybeans. After getting married, my husband and I continued the farming tradition. Together, we cultivated a variety of crops including wheat, rice, milo, and soybeans. I was heavily involved in every aspect of our farming operation, from management and marketing to operating tractors and combines.

We devoted 35 years to farming before I retired in 2011. However, retirement didn’t mean stopping work altogether for me. I transitioned into crop insurance, a field closely related to my farming experience and knowledge.

Activities/Interests

Outside of work, my life is rich with hobbies and activities that keep me busy and fulfilled. I love gardening and spending time tending to my yard. Recently, I’ve embarked on a new adventure: growing cut flowers. It’s been an exciting addition to my gardening activities. Above all, the greatest joy in my life comes from spending time with my grandchildren and attending sporting events with my great-nieces and nephew. They’re all very active in sports, and supporting them makes me happy.
