BRENDA MIKEL

Brenda understands farm and ranch insurance because she specializes in it.

I’m from Sioux Falls, SD, and I’ve lived here all my life. I’ve been part of the agricultural industry for over 27 years, focusing on crop insurance. Growing up, my dad was a farmer, so I had a bit of a background in agriculture. However, my real entry into this field was somewhat accidental. In 1997, a full-time crop insurance agent recruited me to manage his business, and I’ve been in it ever since.

Outside of work, I love reading, keeping up with my grandchildren’s activities, playing golf, and enjoying the lake life.
